Frankly, we haven’t had much luck with business-speak-laden job postings, and we’re tired of faking it. Bear with us as we try to break it down for you, plain and simple – we’re looking for a .NET Super-Coder who knows their stuff.

How do you know if you’re a Super-Coder

• Do you love coding, and have you been doing it for over 3 years, mostly in C#?
• Have you been doing web stuff (in ASP.NET) for over 2 years? Do you know the ins and outs of web-based processing, cross-browser compatibility, CSS, JavaScript, and all that AJAX stuff? Does it drive you nuts sometimes?
• Do you know just about everything there is to know about building distributed systems that run in a production environment with 99.999% uptime? Do you sometimes have nightmares about thread synchronization?
• Do you rock out database design and stored procedures in SQL 2005 like there’s no tomorrow? And yet, do you hate it when people do all their “coding” in SQL?
• Do you prefer to work in small teams with a strong sense of accountability? Do you despair when working with people who don’t carry their weight?
• Do you have a strong attention to detail and sense of pride in your work?

If you answered yes to all those questions, you’re probably a Super-Coder. 

If you’re still on board and want to know more about us, here’s the deal: we’re a young, fast-paced company that’s got a startup feel without the startup risk. We write software that you or someone you know has probably used on more than one occasion without even knowing it. It’s mostly server-based stuff – websites, web services and Windows services; lots of HTTP and TCP/IP. Performance and security are pretty critical, and there’s a fair amount of multi-threading. There’s lots of cool stuff coming up: we’re migrating some client apps to the web, implementing a brand new reporting system, and hooking up our code with the .NET 3.0 Framework.  You'll need to put forth a lot of good design ideas and be a workhorse when it comes time to knock out all the code.
